JUDGMENT

Both Mr.K.Periyakaruppan, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, learned counsel for the respondent would accede to the position that the issue that arises as to whether B.A., degree of one year could be considered as valid degree has been held adverse to the candidate by a decision of this Court in R.Thirunavukkarasau vs The State Of Tamil Nadu (2012 (5) CTC 129), which has since been affirmed by the First Bench in Pramakumari and Others vs. R.Karthieyan and Others (W.A.(MD)No.529 of 2013 batch dated 05.02.2014).

2. In light of the aforesaid, this Writ Appeal is dismissed. No costs.
