By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing.

2. Mr.R.Saravana Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the Head of Thiruthalaiyur Kabadi Team and that the Kabadi match is to be conducted on 12.01.2021 and 13.01.2021. His further submission is that he has submitted a representation dated 04.01.2021 to the respondent police seeking permission to conduct the said match and so far, no permission has been accorded by the respondent police.

4. In the circumstances, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

WP(MD)No.534 of 2021 respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as early as possible.

5. With the above observations, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
