JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) This Writ Appeal has been directed against the order passed by the learned Judge in W.P.(MD)No.7722 of 2006 dated 09.04.2011. 1/3

It is submitted by Mr.K.Mahendran, learned Standing counsel appearing for the appellant Transport Corporation that, the very respondent employee himself has gone for voluntary retirement from service with effect from 31.03.2014, therefore, as of now nothing survives in this Writ Appeal to be agitated. In this context, necessary instructions given by the appellant Corporation dated 29.03.2023 has also been placed before this Court.

3. Recording the said statement made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the appellant, as nothing survives to agitate further in this Writ Appeal, this Writ Appeal is dismissed as having become infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to cost. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
