PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in Misc.Petition No.D1/12957/2008 (L.Ref) Dated 10.07.2010 from the file of the Land Commissioner, Chepauk, Chennai and quash the same insofar as this 10.95 acres in RS No.181/3 in Pirappan Valasai Village and 13.50 acres in R.S.No.154/2 in Nochiyrani Village, Ramnad Taluk and Ramnad District are concerned and directing the second respondent to cancel/drop all orders of disposal of surplus land.

This writ petition is filed as against the proceedings of the first respondent in D1/12957/2008 (L.Ref) Dated 10.07.2010, rejecting the claim of the petitioner on the ground of limitation. 2.On 09.03.2022, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was ordered to be listed on 31.03.2022, under the caption "for dismissal". Even today (31.03.2022), there is no representation for the petitioner.

3.In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed.
