O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the promotion panel of the year 2011-2012 and promote the petitioner to the post of Block Development Officer and fix his seniority above his juniors with all the attendant service benefits.

2. Today when the Writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner has submitted that nothing survives in this Writ Petition and he may be permitted to not press the same. Further, the learned counsel has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the above, the Writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
