PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records and quash the proceedings in F.I.R. in Crime No.242 of 2012 dated 25.12.2012 on the file of the first respondent.

O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records in Crime No.242 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.
2. The petitioner is arrayed as accused No.7 for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324 and 307 of I.P.C. and Section 7(1)(A) of CLA Act in Crime No.242 of 2012 on the file of the first respondent and the allegation against the petitioner is that he along with the other accused attacked the de-facto complainant.
3. When the matter is taken up today for hearing, a Joint Compromise Memo dated 10.07.2015 has been filed by the petitioner and the second respondent duly signed by them as well as the counsel stating that there is no necessity to proceed further and the proceedings may be quashed. The petitioner and the second respondent/de-facto complainant are present before this Court and they have admitted the compromise entered into between them. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that so far as the other accused are concerned, the proceedings were quashed in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.5846 of 2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) and the learned counsel for the second
respondent.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the compromise memo, this Court is of the view that this is a fit case to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.242 of 2012 pending on the file of the respondent police. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the case in Crime No.242 of 2012 pending on the file of the respondent police is hereby quashed. akv Sd/- Assistant Registrar(AE) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar.
