Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay a just and reasonable amount of compensation not less than a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- for the death of the petitioner's minor son John Abisheik aged 3 1/2 Years due to electrocution.

JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was delivered by PUSHPA SATHYANARAYANA,J.) This Writ Appeal is directed against the order, dated 30.04.2013 passed in W.P(MD)No.12458 of 2012. 2.The said Writ Petition was originally filed by the first respondent/writ petitioner for a Writ of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents therein to pay a compensation of Rs.10,00,000/- on account of the death of his minor son, due to electrocution, as a Srilankan refugee.
3.The said Writ Petition was partly allowed, directing the respondents 1 to 6 therein to pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- with interest and costs.

4.The present Writ Appeal is preferred by the TANGEDCO, challenging the order of the learned Single Judge, dated 30.04.2013.
5.Pending the Writ Appeal, the parties were referred to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Bench and on 06.09.2018, it has been recorded by the Mediator that the entire compensation amount awarded by the learned Single Judge has been paid by the appellants.
6.The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the entire compensation amount awarded by the learned Single Judge is paid and the same has also been withdrawn by the first respondent.
7.In view of the above, this Writ Appeal is disposed of. The said Mediation report, dated 06.09.2018, is taken on record. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CO) // True Copy // / /2021 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) ps Note :
