O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, dated 12.03.2018 and to take appropriate action against the accused persons within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner lodged the complaint on 12.03.2018 to the respondent police. The sum and substance of the compliant of the petitioner is that due to previous enmity, on 12.03.2018, the accused along with his henchmen hit the petitioner's twowheeler, abused him by using filthy language and made a life threat to him. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police on the same day. As there was no case registered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

on the said complaint, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, would submit that the petition enquiry is pending before the respondent police.

5. In view of the above said submission the respondent police is directed to expedite the enquiry and complete the same as expeditiously as possible. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police shall take action in accordance with law. In case of closure of the complaint, a copy of the closure report be furnished to the petitioner within a week of such closure. On receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of .
