Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issu a Patta to the petitioner for land in Survey Nos.1070/1A1 and 1070/1A2 in an extent of 9.76 Hectares (24 acres 14 cents) situated at Addavinainar Kovil Kadu, Chengottai, Chengottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 02.09.2013, this Court directed the petitioner to implead the rival party as a respondent in this writ petition. Accordingly, an impleading petition was filed and it was ordered by this Court and the rival party has been added as the second respondent in this writ petition. 3.Heard Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent and Mr.Herold Singh, learned counsel for the second respondent.
4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.13073 of 2012 shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 26.09.2011 and conduct an enquiry after giving opportunity to the petitioner and the impleaded second respondent and pass orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.
6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
