Today, this matter is listed under the caption "For Extension of Time based on the requisition letter received from the learned Principal District Judge, Sivagangai.
2.It is seen from the records that this Court by a judgment dated 13.05.2025 remanded the matter back to the trial Court with a direction to complete the trial within a period of six months. 3.Registry has received a letter addressed by learned Principal District Judge, Sivagangai dated 16.02.2026 enclosing a request letter addressed by the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur dated 12.02.2026. In the annuxre sent by the learned trial Court, it has been mentioned the reasons for the delay that five interlocutory applications were filed and they were disposed of various dates in the month of November 2025, December 2025 and January 2026. It is also stated that an interlocutory application has been filed under Order III Rule 1 & 2 CPC on 10.02.2026 and the same is pending for adjudication. Therefore, the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur sought another three months time. 1/4
4.Considering the reasons stated in the requisition letter for delay, this Court is inclined to extend the time. Accordingly, the learned trial Court shall complete the trial, within a period of two months from today. 27.03.2026 gns 2/4
