ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(i) of IPC and read with Section 1/3

4 of Woman Harassment Act in Crime No.197 of 2023, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the goats belonging to the defacto complainant were grazing in the land belongs to the petitioner, the petitioner objected the same and so wordy quarrel arose between them. In this incident, the petitioner alleged to have scolded the defacto complainant in filthy language and threatened him with dire consequences. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent, he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that petty issue arose between the parties over grazing the cattles. There are two previous cases pending against the petitioner for the offence of assault.

5. Without any change in circumstances, this petition has been filed stating that a false complaint has been made against the petitioner.

6. Considering that there is no change in circumstances and also considering the bad antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant relief to the petitioner. 2/3
