ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as A4 and A5 in Crime No.51 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.05.2015 for the alleged offences punishable under Section 395 of I.P.C., and hence, seek bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that on 19.03.2015, the accused snatched a sum of Rs.1,000/- from the de-facto complainant, at knife point .
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the first petitioner is a college student studying B.Sc., and the second petitioner is a graduate working as an accountant of Kumbakonam. He further submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated on the basis of the confession of co-accused. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) vehemently opposed this petition stating that the petitioners are habitual offenders and they are involved 5 cases of similar in nature.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the petitioners are involved five cases of similar in nature, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioners are not entitled for grant of bail. Hence, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
