ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) and 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.755 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police received a secret information to the effect that the accused persons are in possession of ganja. A vehicle checkup was made and the police were able to apprehend A1 alone and he was found in possession of 1.100 kgs of ganja. It is the specific case of the prosecution that the petitioner(A3) was the one who supplied the contraband to A1.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the allegations that have been made in the FIR where the name of the petitioner is mentioned in the FIR and considering the fact that the quantity involved 2/3

in this case is in-between quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant ancipatory bail to the petitioner.
