ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This public interest litigation has been filed by the petitioner seeking to challenge the impugned notice, which was issued consequent to the peace committee meeting conducted by the 1st respondent, by which, the Village Committee along with other named members are permitted to conduct the Jallikattu programme at Palamedu on 15.01.2021.
2. The petitioner has come before this Court at the last moment and Ms.A.Rajini, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's name may be included in the Committee, as done in the other cases.
3. However, Mr.N.Anantha Padmanaban, learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent / Committee submitted that it is a public https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.620 of 2021 trust and therefore, the petitioner does not have a right. He further submitted that earlier a writ petition has been filed by the very same petitioner in W.P.(MD)No.223 of 2020, which was dismissed by this Court on 02.03.2020. Thus, the petitioner does not have any legal right.
4. As stated supra, the petitioner has approached this Court at the very last moment. In fact, the petitioner has made an attempt before this Court by filing a writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.223 of 2020, which was dismissed. The aforesaid dismissal of the writ petition has been suppressed by the petitioner in this writ petition. Looking from any perspective, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition.
