Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time limit of 3 weeks to 3 months for deposit of a sum of Rs.75 Lakhs in Crl.O.P.NO.22834 of 2018 dated 07/02/2019 to the credit of Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai and thus render justice. Prayer in CRL MP(MD).1694/2019 :

to extend the time limit of 3 weeks to 3 months for deposit of a sum of Rs.75 Lakhs in Crl.O.P.NO.1112 of 2019 dated 07/02/2019 to the credit of Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai and thus render justice.

Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petitions filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.G.MARUTHIAH, Advocate for the petitioner in both the petitions https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl.Side)on behalf of the Respondent in both the petitions, the court made the following order:- These petitions have been filed to extend the time limit of 3 weeks to 3 months for deposit of a sum of Rs.75 lakhs in Crl.O.P.(MD).Nos.22834 of 2018 and 1112 of 2019, dated 07.02.2019 to the Credit of Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai, respectively.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes that the petitioners are ready to deposit a sum of Rs.25 lakhs, tomorrow (i.e.,28.02.2019) and they seek time for depositing of balance amount.

3. In view of the undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioners, time granted by this Court vide order dated 07.02.2019 in Crl.O.P.(MD).Nos.22834 of 2018 and 1112 of 2019 is extended for 2 days for 25 lakhs and the remaining of 50 lakhs a further period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
