ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the case in M.C.No.121 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi.

2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

3.The petitioners are the in-laws of the respondent in M.C.No.121 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the averments made in the present proceedings did not found place in the earlier complaint given.

5.This Court is afraid to quash the proceedings as prayed for. Enactment is only to give protection to the victim. Therefore, this petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. However, all the issues are left open to be raised before the Court below. Considering the submission made, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi to dispose of the case in M.C.No.121 of 2014 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
