O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondent to consider and dispose of the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner on 16.02.2021 in accordance with law within a reasonable time, as may be fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.K.Appadurai, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Muthu Vijayan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent.

3.The petitioner had earlier filed a Writ Petition in W.P.(MD)No. 992 of 2022, which was to consider the representation given before the jurisdictional Tahsildar. That Writ Petition had been disposed of. Now, a statutory appeal has been filed before the respondent. It is stated by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that enquiry had been conducted and notice was also issued on 28.10.2021.

4.A direction is issued to the respondent to dispose of the appeal within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent may examine the records and pass necessary orders in manner known to law. The Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
