2.The petitioner has filed this petition seeking permission and police protection to conduct Kabadi Tournament on 23.01.2021 and 24.01.2021 at Appanthiruppathi Santhai, Madurai District. 3.Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, would contend that the representation submitted by the petitioner was rejected on 20.01.2021 and that the present petition has also become infructuous.

4. Recording the said submissions, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
