This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivagangai to expedite the case in D.V.O.P No.41 of 2014 and to dispose of the same within a stipulated time.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.
3. This Criminal Original Petition shall stand dismissed with the observation that the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivagangai, is duty bound to expeditiously deal with the matter in view of Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 requiring disposal of the case within a period of two months from the date of its first hearing.
