ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 120(b), 420, 465, 466, 467 r/w 34 IPC in Crime No.20 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) and the learned Counsel for the intervenor.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the land measuring 3 Acres 72 Cents originally belonged to the father and brothers of one Valli. The original owners had made the land into 91 plots and sold to various persons during 1979-1980. Thereafter it is alleged that Valli and her brothers have created the encumbrance to the already sold lands by reselling 24 plots in the year 2010. During the mediation, the settlement was arrived at only with regard to two plots relating to Arumugam - defacto complainant. Apart from Arumugam, there are 10 persons whose plots have been encumbered by this petitioner and his wife.

4. Taking into consideration the serious nature of allegations levelled against this petitioner, this Court is of the view that it is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
