O R D E R

Seeking a direction to complete the investigation in Crime No.9 of 2012, the petitioner has come up with the present Criminal Original Petition.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent and perused the records carefully.

3. The respondent has filed a counter, wherein inter alia in Paragraph No.9, it has been stated as follows:- "9. It is respectfully submitted that as process stated above remains so the petitioner herein has filed the direction petition before this Hon'ble Court seeking direction to complete the investigation in Crime No.9 of 2012 and to file charge sheet in accordance with law. The investigation agency has filed a petition before the Hon'ble Special Court for trial of cases under Prevention of Corruption Act, Tirunelveli, with a prayer to close the FIR. As per the request of the Investigation Agency, the FIR was closed on 11.02.2015 vide RCS.No.1 of 2015 of the Special Court for Trial of Cases under Prevention of Corruption Act, Tirunelveli. Hence, filing charge sheet in accordance with law does not arise in this case".

4. In view of the above position, no direction, as sought for by the petitioner, need be given. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
