RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINANT IN BOTH PETITIONS PRAYER IN CRL MP(MD)No.593 of 2021 IN CRL OP(MD) No.15019 of 2020: Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the order passed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15019 of 2020 dated 17.12.2020 instead of to deposit the quantum of amount Rs.10,00,000/-(Rupees Ten Lakhs), permit this petitioners to deposit a lesser amount.

PRAYER IN CRL MP(MD)No.595 of 2021 IN CRL OP(MD) No.15019 of 2020: To pass an order to grant extension of time for a further period of Eight more weeks in Crl.O.P.(MD)No. 15019 of 2020 dated 17.12.2020 to the petitioners to deposit the modified amount, which is to be ordered by this Hon`ble court.

Order : These petitions coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petitions filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.C.KARTHIK, Advocate for the petitioners in both petitions, and of Mr.M.V.CHANDRASEKARAN, Government Advocate (criminal side) on behalf of the Respondent in both petitions, the court made the following order:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD) Nos.593 and 595 of 2021 The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail on 17.12.2020. One of the conditions was that the petitioners should jointly deposit a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- to the account of the defacto complainant. He further submitted that the petitioners spent more than Rs.5,00,000/- for the surgery undergone by the defacto complainant and she is under the care of the petitioners. Since the amount is huge, they are not able to mobilize the funds. Hence, they seeks modification of the same and extension of time.

2.Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the condition imposed by this Court is modified to the extent that the petitioners shall jointly deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- to the account of the defacto complainant and the time for surrender by the petitioners before the concerned Court and executing the sureties is extended till 15.03.2021, failing which the anticipatory bail already granted by this Court shall stand cancelled.

3.These criminal miscellaneous petitions are allowed accordingly.
