PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondent to give police protection to the petitioner and use his own property in Survey Nos.536/3 an extent of 335 Square feet situated in Irungalur Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give police protection to the petitioner and use his own property in Survey Nos.536/3 to an extent of 335 Square feet situated in Irungalur Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 18.12.2021 and the same is pending.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted and the same was closed on 19.12.2021 as civil in nature. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Civil Court for appropriate relief in manner known to law, if so advised.
