ORDER

This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct Village festival in connection with Pongal Festival from 14.01.2026 to 16.01.2026 at South Veerapandiyapuram Samathuva Thidal, South Veerapandiyapuram, Thoothukudi District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 12.12.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the facts of the case, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's complaint, dated 12.12.2025 and pass 2/4

appropriate orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claim, the respondents shall allot separate dates to the rival groups.
