ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the first respondent to appoint an enquiry officer under Section 173(4) of BNSS by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2026 and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation is pending for consideration.

3. This Court without expressing any opinion on merits of the claim made by the petitioner directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
