RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to pass an order to extend the time for 15 days to the petitioner in the order passed in Crl.O.P.No. 463 of 2018 dated 10.01.2018 for surrender before the Learned Principal Special Court for EC & NDPS Act Court, Madurai in Crime No. 171 of 2017 on the file of the respondent Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.SELVAKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARTHI, Govt.Advocate(Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time granted to the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD)No.

463 of 2018, dated 10.01.2018. 2.This Court, by order dated 10.01.2018 made in Crl.O.P(MD) No.463 of 2018, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner and directed him to appear before the concerned Magistrate, within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy was made ready. However, the petitioner did not comply with conditions, within the time prescribed by this Court. Hence, he has approached this Court with the present petition for extension of time. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner could not produce the sureties within the time prescribed by this Court and hence, he prays for extension of time. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. 5.Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is ordered and the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Principal Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Madurai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt a copy of this order and comply with the order dated 10.01.2018, made in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.463 of 2018. sd/- 15/02/2018 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
