This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the 4th respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 28.11.2020, wherein the petitioner has sought for carrying out correction in the village records in line with the order passed by the District Collector dated 23.10.2020.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the order passed by the District Collector became a subject matter of challenge in W.P.(MD) No.2599/2021 and the said writ petition was entertained and interim order was also granted. In view of the same, the correction was not able to be carried out in the village records.

3.In view of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. Depending upon the final result in W.P.(MD) No.2599/2021, consequential direction will be passed by this Court. This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
