ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the charge sheet filed by the first respondent in P.R.C.No.18 of 2015 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi, in view of the compromise entered between the de-facto complainant/the second respondent and the petitioners/accused.
2. The petitioners are arrayed as accused Nos.1 to 4 in P.R.C.No.18 of 2015 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) of I.P.C. and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. When the matter is taken up today for hearing, a joint compromise memo dated 22.06.2015 has been filed by the petitioners and the second respondent duly signed by them as well as the counsel stating that they resolved the dispute amicably and the proceedings
may be quashed. The petitioners and the second respondent/de-facto complainant were also present before this Court and they have admitted the compromise entered into between them.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the relevant materials including the compromise memo filed, this Court is of the view that this is a fit case to quash the charge sheet in P.R.C.No.18 of 2015 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the charge sheet in P.R.C.No.18 of 2015 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi is hereby quashed.
