PRAYER IN WA(MD) No.SR3213 of 2016:- to set aside the order dated 26.03.2013 in WP(MD)No.5190 of 2010 on the file of this Hon'ble Court and allow this Writ Appeal PRAYER IN WP(MD)No.5190 of 2010:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order made in Na.Na.No.049742/appointment 1(2)2010-10, dated 06.04.2010 on the respondent and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to issue appointment order to the petitioner to the post of Grade - II Police Constable for the year 2009. ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.CHANDRASEKAR, Government Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.A.

2. The present Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1380 days in filing Writ Appeal.
3. Considering the fact that a batch of Writ Appeals are pending before this Court on a similar issue, we are inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, the delay is condoned, on condition that the petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.1,500/- to the Credit of Indian Bank Savings Account No.6514082295, operated by the Registrar (Administration), for the purpose of removal of Seemai Karuvelam Trees, within a period of three weeks from today. It is made clear that if the cost is not paid by the petitioners within the time stipulated in this order, the present Miscellaneous Petition shall stand dismissed automatically without any further reference to this Court.
