ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for her life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2022.

2. Mr.M.Jegadeesh Pandian, learned counsel, who takes notice for the respondents 3 to 6, would submit that a civil suit is pending in O.S.No.612 of 2018 before the Additional Sub Court, Dindigul. He would further submit that the petitioner had remained ex-parte.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that on the basis of the 2/4

complaint given by the petitioner, CSR.No.686 of 2022 came to be registered and after enquiry, the complaint was ordered to be closed. He would further submit that the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent have appeared before the second respondent and also gave statements.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
