O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case, based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 04.12.2017.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner's wife has already left the matrimonial home and hence, the petitioner has filed a Divorce Petition before the Sub Court, Dindigul and that being so, on 26.11.2017, the petitioner's wife and her brother trespassed into the petitioner's house and criminally intimidated him and also assaulted him and hence, he lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 04.12.2017, but, so far, no action has been taken.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents has submitted that the enquiry is still pending in CSR.No.30 of 2018.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then, he has to register a case, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and proceed in accordance with law, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
