Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent 1/4
herein to take action on the complaint of the petitioner dated 03.07.2013 forthwith and also to take legal action in accordance with law for the forcible eviction of the petitioner by the respondents 3 and 4 herein. For R-3 : Mr.P.Arun Kumar For R-4 : Mr.B.Prasanna Vinoth COMMON ORDER A batch of Writ Petitions and Criminal Original Petitions are filed by the tenants in the premises owned by the fourth respondent herein alleging that the fourth respondent is attempting to illegally evict them and that they have lodged a complaint before the respondents 1 to 3 and no action has been taken by them. The Writ Petitions are filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take action on those complaints. The Criminal Original Petitions have been filed by the tenants seeking direction to register and investigate their complaints.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners in all the petitions submitted that the dispute between the landlord and the tenants has been now settled and 2/4
hence the prayer in the above petitions have become infructuous. The learned counsel has also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. Recording the same, the Writ Petitions and Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
