PRAYER in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10976 of 2014: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondents to take necessary action to impound the passport of the A1 and A2 by name Ananathan, S/o.Chinnaiah and Subramanian, S/o.Chinnaiah in crime No.93 of 2014 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

ORDER

The petition in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.11782 of 2014 is filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Cr.No.93 of 2014 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police to any other independent agency or CBCID officer under the direct supervision of the 1st respondent and further to file the final report in the said case within a reasonable time period to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petition in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10976 of 2014 is filed to direct the respondents to take necessary action to impound the passport of the A1 and A2 by name Ananathan, S/o.Chinnaiah and Subramanian, S/o.Chinnaiah in crime No.93 of 2014 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that already investigation has been completed in crime No.93 of 2014 on the file of the 2nd respondent and the same has been referred as Mistake of Fact and hence, nothing survives in these petitions. 4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, these criminal original petitions are dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
