Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS calling for the records relating to the award of the Labour Court Madurai in I.D.No. 142/1998 dated 18.9.2007 and quash the same in so far the denial of backwages to the petitioner herein is concerned and consequently direct the 1st respondent Management to pay full back wages to the petitioner. [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM,J.] This Petition seeking to condone the delay of 312 days in filing appeal is allowed and the delay is condoned, on condition that the Petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.750/-, out of which, a sum of Rs.500/- shall be paid to the second respondent herein and a sum of Rs.250/- shall be paid to the credit of Indian Bank Savings Account No.6514082295, operated by the Registrar (Administration), for the purpose of removal of Seemai Karuvelam Trees, within a period of two weeks from today.
