ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to complete the proceedings in COLREVCOLOR/ 32539/2023-B5 dated 19.05.2023 issued by the 2nd respondent and consequently to change name and issue patta on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2023 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that at the time of UDR, the subject properties were entered in some other persons names instead of his family members. For removal of their names, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents on 13.04.2023. After receipt of the representation, the second respondent initiated the proceedings in COLREV-COLOR/ 32539/2023-B5 dated 19.05.2023 and directed the fourth respondent to conduct enquiry, take necessary action and sent a report to the second respondent and the petitioner. Since the same has not been considered by the fourth respondent till date, the present writ petition has been filed.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that as per the proceedings of the second respondent dated 19.05.2023, the fourth respondent will hold an enquiry, after affording opportunity to all the parties concerned and to submit a report. Based on the report, the second respondent will hold an enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this Court directs the fourth respondent to hold an enquiry after affording opportunity to the parties concerned and to submit a report before the second respondent within a 3/6
period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Based on the said report, the second respondent will hold an enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 31.05.2024.
