O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the entire records in Crime No.174 of 2014 pending on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Mannachanallur Police Station, Trichy District and quash the same.

2. The petitioners are arrayed as accused Nos.1 to 4 in Crime No.174 of 2014 pending on the file of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 323 and 427 of I.P.C.

3. When the matter is taken up today for hearing, a joint compromise memo dated 24.06.2015 has been filed by the petitioners and the second respondent duly signed by them as well as the counsel stating that the proceedings may be quashed and the affidavit has also been filed by the second respondent stating that he does not want to proceed further. The petitioners and the second respondent/de-facto complainant are present before this Court and they have admitted the compromise entered into between them.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) and the learned counsel for the second respondent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the compromise memo, this Court is of the view that this is a fit case to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.174 of 2014 pending on the file of the respondent police. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the case in Crime No.174 of 2014 pending on the file of the respondent police is hereby quashed.
