This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 19.12.2020, wherein, the petitioner has sought for the cancellation of patta granted in favour of the private parties and for transfer of patta in his name.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.The order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.696/2021 dated 10.10.2023 will squarely cover the issue involved in this case. This Court had granted liberty to the petitioner to question the civil Court decree and the consequential registration of the sale deeds. Depending upon the result before the civil Court, it is left open to the petitioner to approach the revenue authorities seeking for cancellation of patta. This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs. 10.10.2023 NCC :Yes/No
