This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to make an enquiry into the fraudulent registration in the petitioner's property bearing Survey Nos. 211 to 213 and its sub-divisions A, B, C, F, G, the total extent of 4.17 acres of Punja Land, situated at Thonugal Village, Kovilpatti Taluk, Thoothukudi District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2023.
2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. According to the petitioner, he has made a representation to the first respondent on 07.06.2023, seeking to enquire into the fraudulent registration in Survey Nos.211 to 213 and its sub-divisions A, B, C, F, G to an extent of 4.17 acres of punja land situated at Thonugal Village, Kovilpatti Taluk, Thoothukudi District. But till date there is no progress on the said representation. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ 2/5
petition.
4. Mr.M.Senthil Ayyanar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

Considering the above said facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity to the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
