The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, the grievances of the writ petitioner were redressed by way of promotion and on promotion he received all the benefits applicable to him with reference to the pension rules and retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation.
