No.A2/TR 2459/11, dated 02.03.2012 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to change the registry in the name of the petitioner as Huqdar of Sri Selvavinayagar Temple with regards to the property tax under assessment number 32461, 32463, 32464.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed challenging an order passed by the first respondent herein, under which, the name of the writ petitioner was deleted as Huqdar of Sri Selvavinayagar Temple from the property tax register.

2. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner, who claims to be a huqdar of the said temple had passed away. His legal heirs have not evinced any interest in getting themselves impleaded in the writ petition to prosecute the same. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.14872 of 2012 Hence, the writ petition stands closed with liberty to the legal heirs to restore the same, if they are so advised. There shall be no order as to costs.
