JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) Challenging the order passed by the learned Single Judge, respondents 2 to 4 in the writ petition have filed the present writ appeal.

2. The writ petitioner filed the writ petition challenging the patta transfer order dated 31.08.2025, primarily on the ground that the patta had been transferred without affording an opportunity of hearing to the original pattadhars. The learned Single Judge set aside the order of the first respondent therein and remanded the matter to the first respondent therein for fresh consideration, directing the authority to pass a reasoned and speaking order after providing a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the writ petitioner as well as the present pattadars.

3. In view of the above, we are of the considered opinion that the writ appeal is devoid of merits. The fifth respondent herein is directed to pass appropriate orders after hearing all the parties concerned. 2/4

Accordingly, the writ appeal stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [N.S.K., J.] & [M.J.R., J.] 01.06.2026 Index : Yes / No : Ye / No am To The Tahsildar, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.
