ORDER

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that the process of selection for appointment to the post of the Assistant Librarian, is under challenge in the present writ petition. However, the appointed candidate left the post and now the University has to conduct a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.6302 of 2011 fresh selection by following the UGC Regulations and conduct the selection as per the procedures contemplated. 2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University also made a submission that the University will be conducting all the selections in accordance with the UGC Regulations and by following the procedures contemplated. In view of the fact that the appointed candidate left the service, the issue arose for the purpose of filing writ petition did not exist as of now. Thus, no further consideration is required and accordingly the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
