This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 20.02.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.22781 of 2021.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.S.Shaji Bino, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, submits that the Tahsildar, Thiruppathur, in compliance with the order passed by this Court, has submitted proposals to the Office of the Accountant General through proceedings dated 19.02.2026 bearing reference Roc.No.A4/1282/2018 and the said proposal was, u, rejected by the Deputy Accountant General (Pension) through proceedings dated 20.02.2026 bearing reference No.Pr.A.G.(A&E)/Legal Cell/Cont P(MD) 55/2026/2025-26/2357-34259. Copies of the proceedings dated 19.02.2026 bearing reference Roc.No.A4/1282/2018 and the proceedings dated 20.02.2026 bearing reference No.Pr.A.G.(A&E)/Legal Cell/Cont P(MD) 55/2026/2025-26/2357-34259 are produced before this Court.

3. In the light of the above, it cannot be said that there is any violation of the order passed by this Court. Though there is considerable delay in complying with the order passed by this Court, taking into consideration that there is some administrative delay, this Court is not inclined to proceed further with the contempt petition. 4. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to take appropriate steps against the proceedings dated 20.02.2026 issued by the Deputy Accountant General (Pension), in the manner known to law.
