ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the minutes of the peace committee meeting dated 02.06.2011 and seeking direction for permission and protection for conducting festival from 03.06.2011 to 19.06.2011.

2.There is no representation for the petitioner. The impugned proceedings is nothing but the minutes recorded by the Tahsildar, Iluppur in respect the Peace Committee Meeting conducted based on the request for permission to conduct a festival on 03.06.2011. In the said minutes, the parties were prohibited from conducting the festival on 03.06.2011 in view of the dispute between two groups.

3.Considering the relief sought for by the petitioner at this distant of point of time, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to file a fresh writ petition if still the cause of action subsists. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
