ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging an order passed by the 3rd respondent herein, under which patta standing in the name of the writ petitioner was transferred to the name of the 4th respondent herein.

2. The petitioner has filed an appeal before the 1st respondent on 26.06.2013, which is said to be pending. Under the Patta Passbook Act, the 1st respondent is the competent authority to modify or reverse the order passed by the 3rd respondent herein.

In view of the above said facts, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 26.06.2013, after giving due opportunity to the writ petitioner and the 4th respondent herein within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
