This Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the respondent to comply with the order dated 08.01.2016 made in Crl.OP(MD)No.269/2016 on the file of this Honourable Court.

Prayer in CRL OP(MD)No.269/ 2016 :

This Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the Respondent No.2 to file the final report in crime No.126 of 2013 dated 11.07.2013 and proceed with the same as per law within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble court. Order : This Petition coming on for hearing this day upon perusing the petition filed and the affidavit and perused the documents placed on record filed in support thereof and the letter dated 08.03.2018 in D.No.693 of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.C.SENTHIL MURUGAN, Advocate for the petitioner and Mr.A.P.G.OHM CHAIRMA PRABHU, Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the Respondents this Court made the following order:- This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to comply with the order dated 08.01.2016 made in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.269 of 2016 on the file of this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai has submitted a letter dated 08.03.2018, stating that as per the direction of this Court, dated 26.02.2018, he has made a surprise inspection to the Judicial Magistrate Court, Vadipatti on 08.03.2018 and found that the charge sheet was filed in the above said case on 03.08.2017 itself, but the case was taken on file. He further stated that only on 06.03.2018 the case was taken on file as P.R.C.No.12 of 2018. Hence, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 3.The Registry is directed to inform the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, in future, he should take the case without unnecessary delay as soon as the charge sheet is filed. Further, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti is directed to dispose of P.R.C.No.12 of 2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
