ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus, to direct the first respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2024, seeking to grant license to have a pistol for self protection.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and conduct enquiry on the request made by the petitioner, after hearing both sides, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
