O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to expedite the proceedings in Na.KA.P2/9446/2025, dated 16.09.2025 and complete the same.

2.By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that to register the date of birth of her son, the petitioner made an application before the first respondent on 16.09.2025 and the same was taken on file in his proceedings Na.KA.P2/9446/2025, however, since the said proceedings is pending consideration, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.

4.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the proceedings pending before the 2/5

first respondent would be considered in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.09.2025, taken on file as Na.KA.P2/9446/2025, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. There shall be no order as to costs.
