ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2024.

2. According to the petitioner he had made a representation before the second respondent on 27.12.2024 but the same was not considered, hence he has filed the above petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that they have received the representation of the petitioner and the enquiry is pending and they will complete the enquiry as early as possible.

4. This Court without going into the merits of the petition and also considering the fact that it is dispute between the family members and considering the limited prayer of the petitioner to consider the representation this Court is inclined to pass orders without issuing notice to the private respondents.

5. Considering the fact that it is a dispute between the family members this Court directs the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law as early as possible preferably within a period of 15 days from the date of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
