PRAYER:- Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the proceedings in O.Mu.A4/2573/2016 dated 22.06.2016 and Na.Ka.No.A4/4171/2019 dated 29.08.2019 within a stipulated time. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the proceedings within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first respondent submitted that the first respondent has already passed final orders through proceedings dated 22.02.2021 and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai and the same is pending.
3. In view of the above development, except directing the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai, to pass final orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition and it is left open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the pending proceedings before the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai.
